Ella's Favorite Things

What could be better than your favorite blanket, a binky, a necklace, and mommy's slippers?

Ella has sweet skills!

Ella has been talking a lot lately.  She likes to say Grandma, Grandpa, Tyler, Nathan.  (Don't worry Uncle Tyler, even though Ella doesn't really say your name in this video, she usually says it all the time.)  Ella also loves to make animal noises.  She is basically a professional.  Also, Ella really loves to twirl so I thought she would love the game Ring Around the Rosie.  Well she loves the twirling part but hates the falling down part.  Every time I say we all fall down; Ella will fall down and cry.  I think it is pretty hilarious.  She does this every single time I sing the song.

 Ella loves playing with her kitchen.

 Ella woke up one morning and all she wanted to do was wear her boots and hat.  When I opened the blinds to our back door Ella hung on the door handle because she wanted to play outside.

So Daddy took her outside to play.

Instead of helping Ella when she falls in the snow, Daddy takes pictures.

Ella loved playing in the snow.  She did not want to go back inside.

Daddy and Ella are tired.

Ella loves blankets!  She carries around one almost every where she goes in the house.

Snow Day

We made it home from our trip in Utah just before this storm hit.  So far we have gotten about a foot of snow and it is really cold (-1 with a wind chill of -20).  Liam did not have to go to school today which was nice.  It would have been a lot nicer if Ella felt better, but Ella was happy to have her daddy to cuddle her.

Christmas in Utah!

We had a very fun trip visiting our family and friends over Liam's winter break.  I should have taken more pictures but I never remember to take my camera places.  

The first five pictures are from our trip up to the cabin.  We went up twice and had a lot of fun.  Ella and I rode up on the rhino, which Ella thought was the perfect place to take a nap.  She napped all for times we got on the rhino!

This next picture is Ella playing at Nana's house.  The little stool in the background was Ella's favorite!  She picked it up and carried it almost everywhere she went.

This picture is a gift I made for my grandpa for Christmas.  The dates are the two times that Grandpa has gotten a hole in one!

Liam spent as much time as I would let him at Snowville trying to trap and call coyotes and bob cats.  He didn't trap anything but he did shoot two jack rabbits.  He wanted me to inform everybody that he shot this particular rabbit at 240 yards.

We got some videos of Ella's first time playing in the snow.  She had a good time but we had to take her in pretty soon since she got cold.  Please ignore my crazy laughing.  It kind of makes me sound like a crazy lady in the video.
